Namba Yasaka Shrine is located near downtown Minami, Osaka.
The distinctive feature of the shrine is its large lion’s head(called Shishigasira), which is about 12 meters high.
This lion’s head is used during ceremonies for the gods, at which time the lion dance is performed.
