Todaiji Temple is located in Nara Park and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This building, called the Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), measures approximately 60 meters across and is astonishing in its size.

The Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall) houses the Daibutsu (Great Buddha).
It is about 15 meters high and was built 1,300 years ago with the wish to create a country free from plague and disaster.
